The company is obviously being appropriately discrete about who they are in negotiations with, although I believe that prior PRs have indicated interest and site visits by majors. So, it is fair to presume that one or more majors may be involved in current discussions.
What is clear is that Medinah is in actual negotiations with one or more (unspecified) companies for the purpose of entering into a JV partnership agreement. You seemed to be trying to cast doubt on even this. To borrow your lottery analogy, if someone says they intend to win the lottery but they have not actually bought a ticket, that would be a misleading statement since buying a ticket is a necessary first step. In the same way, if Medinah states that they intend to conclude a JV partnership but they have not actually received offers or engaged in negotiations, that would also be a misleading statement since negotiations are a necessary first step. Are you accusing Medinah Mining, Inc. of making misleading statements? If you are, please say so.
In this context the word "conclude" means to come to an agreement. This necessarily implies that there are two or more parties in negotiations. By itself, the word "intend" is vague and may mean nothing more than a single person's mental plan. But in this context, 'to intend to conclude a partnership agreement' clearly implies the active negotiations of two or more parties.
But of course none of this really matters that much, except for what it reveals about you, WLD, and your efforts to confuse people by your tortured use of the English language. What matters most is the actual JV partnership agreement and the resumption of drilling. It won't be long now. Will you get a new assignment at that point, or will you be with us right up until the buyout?
