I agree that one distribution point is the goal... hopefully that will be CheckFree. I also think that the most effeceint method is both electronic payment and presentment. Payment is easier to setup than presentment, and the cost benefit for presentment is a greater hurdle than for payment, in fact it may be significant if something low-tech like PMB can enter the market.

I am not sure that PMB would miss out on advertising and sales generation as they still have a captive customer base via e-mail to which they can atttach advertisements. The cross selling is a good point... I wonder if it would flow through the CheckFree system. The credit card companies have a valuable customer database to which they can target products.... hopefully it would come out on the other end of a pure electronic transaction.

Just my opinion (and T is on the floor as Stept throws his flow-through jab! the crowd goes wild... (sorry, couldn't help myself!!!)).
