1.) In the civil law, one can be convicted upon the "preponderance of evidence", and, in any event, the public does not have the same obligation as jurors;
2.) The Oval Office is not part of the private residence of the President and his family. Furthermore, he may have been serviced in the White House, but he lied under oath in civil and grand jury proceedings;
3.) The right to privacy is not absolute, or one could never be the subject of a wire- tap, or under the compulsion of a search warrant....
