I'd also like to pose my opinion as to the original question(s) while I am here: In the history of man he has repeatedly and predicably abused religious belief for his own purposes. Egyptians called themselves Gods so they could rule with an iron first (and I'd note that this happened elsewhere as well-ie early and late Myans). Jews wrote a book so they would have the truth in writing, promptly lost its meaning and declared war on everyone else on the planet. Christians followed a wise man(who I believe is God) and promptly used it to clear many a country of its original inhabitants (Africa and the Americas come right to mind). Musloms follow a wise man and go on killing sprees regularly. Humanists claim all the religous must die (figure that one out and I'll give you a dollar). Animal Lovers and tree lovers would rather see a man put to death than a dog die naturally. UFO believers are just now coming into full force and soon everyone must believe or they are going to be considered less (and possibly killed). ---------------------- all of this leads me to believe that none of it is real. What's behind the UFO's? NOTHING. Are they FRAUDS? Absolutely. Where are they from? If anywhere, another world. Are they the Nephilim of ages past? well only 1/2 the sightings or so say they are tall instead of short green men, so no, I don't think so. What's their agenda for Planet Earth? probably trying to figure out why we're so screwed up, just like we are... or if they are afflicted with the same mentality as humans they probably don't consider us worthy of their god. and finally, What does the bible say about them? NOTHING. Intentionally? I think not, the Scriptures had to be able to explain everything in the world of the Jews, just like the book of the Dead did for the Egyptians. Otherwise it wouldn't work as a religion. all comments of a constuctive nature - I hope you didn't mean "only opinions and comments which support my beliefs so that I may feel better about what I believe unto the point whereby I decide everyone else is incorrect." (ps. I know YOU didn't, I'm just trying to point it out for other people). I appreciate that you have talked with many abductees and understand that their experiences are real to them, and although the X-Files is a great show I do not think that any human has ever had a working alien device removed (or embedded) in their person. I also appreciate your great study of scriptural passages (in fact I would greatly like to read all of the Septuagint at some point, as well as every other passage that was left out of the Bible I was raised with - Roman Catholic). -ps. I'd have to be playing devil's advocate to go along with the whole UFO=Angel scheme... who else would want there to be something new beyond man's past teachings... surely God intended the Scriptures to be a Full and Complete referense, even if mysterious. Why else would he have picked who he did when he did and not now when the message could be spread throughout the entire world.
