If you look at this thread, you will see that I have never posted a rumor about AMD being sold out for the quarter and, au contraire, I was the first one to share with the thread, about 4 weeks back, that AMD may not sell 5Mu. I will admit that I thought they would make closer to 5Mu than 4Mu but I have apologized to the thread about suggesting to the thread that they would make 5Mu.

Now, I know where you got that IBM rumor! You have excited the thread with a rumor about IBM taking ownership stake in AMD and never had the guts to admit that you were wrong. Or the other times you were generating FUD about K7 power dissipation or about your comments on how Intel will ship gazillions of Coppermines in Q4 or how AMD cannot yield K7s or how you took to gospel and spouted Firing Squad test results. Now, I know you can do better if you coordinate your mouth and brain - but boy that hasn't happened yet!

Getting back to the original post that started this: the rumor I got is toooooo juicy - came out in a gathering of mostly Intel friends. Just in case the rumor is right - better do some home work. I will.

Speaking for myself, I won't spout anything on this thread that I don't believe in. So, far I haven't posted anything on this thread that I haven't heard from a couple of sources. The best I can do is state the info that is available and fessup if I make the wrong call. I know some rumors don't come true but if I say something, rest assured my money is backing my mouth.
