I am not saying Sun severs are much better than other brands.
The Sun's servers are much better than it was a few years ago.
There is no argument on this. However, it has not yet fully met
the fault tolerance standard to run mission critical tasks for
million dollar business. If your business could only lose Kilo's
in an one hour crash, then SUN's equipment should be good enough
for you. No question about this. However, if it can cause a damage
for more than a million dollar per hour, you had better think
about it again.

Also, People need a whole solution to run their Ebiz these days.
To provide a good hardware is not enough for your customers. (You
may see how poor Digital was, even though they might have one of
the best hardware a few years ago). The hardware provider needs to
make sure the common software can (and will) run well on your
machine, otherwise people can go to other places for a better
solution. For instance, IBM, HWP and CPQ can certainly provide a
better solution than Sun (just a little bit more expensive).

This is the point that I would like to address in my previous
post. Please do not put your words into my mouth.
