Country Club memberships are bought and resold. Frequently they are issued in an individuals name (not corporation). Varries according to club. Additionally prices have been quite volatile. Last year club memberships were down 90% from their peak in 91. Unless they were bought last year (probably the low) market value could be below carrying value Mad2
