They didn't say when the Trail of Tears was, but I know it was around then.>> That goes through Southern Illinois. I have seen the Trail of Tears markers there. They hold a horseback ride along it every year in memory. Wife and neighbor lady were going to do it this year except the neighbor lady got tired of she and her son being abused so she filed for divorce and left town.
