B.K.: I have to assume the author is equating 'vunerability' with the term 'farthest behind', per your good points.

What is your opinion regarding, perhaps, the most serious potential disruptive problem of the banking industry, the 'cascading cross-fault' senarios?

Your point is well-taken that those industries most reliant on embedded systems are definately and will continue to be, by light-years, the farthest behind, e.g., water utiltiies, refineries, etc., including what may very likely next year be proven to be the 'archilles heel' of America, the ENTIRE oil supply chain, from ground to utility company/gas pumps.

Based on what you now know about the status of banking, but separate from potential disruptions from all other interrelated parts of the infrastructure, and also separate from the national and international economic 'mess' (to use a polite term) in general, would you:
1.take some/most/all of your cash out of SF B of A?, or
2 your own bank?
