I use DTN/IQ which allows me to have as many watch lists as I want. I have lists for sectors, IPOs, box makers,Inets, brokerage, daytrades and so on. Each list has alerts for price, vol, news.. I have to manually set each one. I keep with stocks that I know, this way I don't have to do much DD....As I look around, I list my stock for a reason, like maybe beaten down and could rebound or maybe because the stock will run on news..but at the same time I always watch market conditions as they could change the way the stock will move..It also has a program that shows me the highest % gainers in the major exchanges above $5.00 below $5.00 or most active in real time. here is some of the ones that went off today quote.yahoo.com

Biggest problem is which ones to move on and If I'm selling a couple in am run then I'm not looking @ alerts.. At times too much info and not fast enough equipment. If you can tell me what info you need either here or PM me,( by the way did you get that IPO list I sent you a few days ago?)for your vol machine and maybe we can put it together. Most trades are 1 or 2 days...Of cause I hold some of Randy's stock...It is a lot of work but does pay off. Randy's stocks you buy, monitor and wait.. They get there with little effort on our part..but I know the effort he puts in. We have a lot of good posters with great DD and we should beable to get something together,, Banchee |
