Tim,

I can't really agree or disagree with you, regarding Ron A. On one hand, yes, he has done what appears to be a good job the last 5 years, guiding the company to qtr after qtr of good growth. On the other hand, is he maximizing the potential that a company like WIND should realize as the leader in a great growth sector?

I don't have the answer and is very frustrated by the fact that I don't have the answer. So may be I am blaming Ron for this frustration. I suppose I can vote with my feet (or my sell button) but I think the company is much better than what is presented to investors right now.

Needless to say, Wall Street may agree with me. There are only 3 analysts who would venture a guess as to what WIND's future earnings may be. I assume we all have read the H&Q report by now. Where did you find in the report that gave us the methodology H&Q used to come up with the original $.16 and what they used to revised the earnings to $.12?

Don't misunderstand me when it comes to selling the company. I am not remotely advocating such an alternative. I just think that it limits my down side risk.

Regarding MSFT, I am again using a common sense approach. If MSFT gets into the embedded world big time, it will actually help WIND. I don't think it is possible for MSFT to monopolize anything anymore. Just the threat of MSFT may force many to jump on the WIND bandwagon. INTU is a great example. The government shot that one down and MSFT Money remained worthless. I am betting on MSFT's track record. They have never been able to come up with anything on their own and they would not be able to come up with anything good in the embedded world. If they buy their way into the arena, then WIND's value may go up correspondingly, not down.

Finally, I have to re-iterate that I am no expert on this topic so feel free to tear it apart.

Ramsey
