RTev:MSFT doesn't care. They want to cover all the bases. They will do just as well on cable as well as on ADSL or satellite as long as MSFT software is used. They are simply positioning themselves in as many areas as they can. MSN will keep moving ahead and when the time comes to crown the king of the net MSFT will be sued for its dominance there. There content is as strong as any Expedia,Car Point,Slate, etc.

But this whole cable thing is a joke anyway as the cable operators do not have the bandwidth to open up the cable to all those that would want to be onn it. It is not the same kind of dedicated path that one finds in the telco distribution system. In the end the RBOC's will be the winners and AOL will be a marketing and content provider.
