Like Windows95, CE has a lot of applications such as baby excel/word/IE/.... It is up to the system manufacture to decide what mix of applications it wants for CE. But the question is whether people want a mini-desk top on their PDAs, auto-PCs, and set-tops. Maybe when HDTV becomes common, the set-tops will require such applications. But there is no need for any of these right now. The Palm Pilot has proven this point. Maybe Liberate will prove it in the set-top market as well.
