Barry, it is my belief that the approach you have choosen is "top shelf". Looking to God for guidance is never a loosing way. BTW, is this the friend(G...) you mentioned awhile back. The one I have been praying for? You are a natural encourager which is a great gift.

Barry, here is one that requires some self-discipline from us, " (1 John 2:15 NASB) "Do not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Live in the world, Be thankful for the things God provides, but walk with Him and love Him, not the world.
