>>This is death on a stick to all the PC companies.<<

In all the time I have watched Dell and MU, both you and Bill Fleck have been some of the best contrarian indicators.

Here's how it works:

You claim MU has a terrible quarter and Bill Fleck follows thru with a "I can't believe no one has noticed" article on Stocksite. Then MU sells off for 3 days or so, and then rallies $13.

You show us how much of a terrible time CPQ is having in the PC business claiming business stinks (it does for them), and how these "free PCs" are death on a stick for PC companies. Then Dell rallies on its way to a new high. (I'll have to wait a week or two for it to get there.) And remarkably pukey CPQ rallies too.

So who is right, the guys shouting fear from the sidelines or the guys making money? I stepped out of Dell stock last weekend to observe this "free PC" phenomenom. I concluded it's not a threat...see I can change my view and admit I was wrong...then I stepped back into Dell stock.

I sure hope that Bill Fleck fella is finally squeezed out of his Micron short position so that he can get on with his life. <No G>
