I'm intrigued BruSi, why are you so high on VTEL? Unlike the IASCA thread, I actually have some experience in this area and can tell you, as a PLCM distributor, we are not seeing too much of VTEL out there. PTEL is still the big name legacy product out there and PLCM is the newcomer who is kicking everyone's ass. So where does VTEL fit in? VTEL's answer to PLCM was to partner with RSI and there unimpressive "Flyer" product. We used to distribute RSI and their products never flew off of our shelves!

Sure, webcasting is hot right now but I think with the percentage of market share PLCM is gaining in standard video applications that they will probably be able to dominate with their StreamStation.

I like the $5 price tag on VTEL stock compared to PLCM's lofty $38-$40 and might be willing to take a "flyer" on it but would like to hear something a little more compelling than your Alexander Graham Bell analogy.
