Salah, Lots of good articles. I wonder how many interviews Dr. Eric has given so far? He made more news for Novell than thier PR dept. has in the last 3 months. I especially like his line of: CommWeek: How will you gauge success? Schmidt: I think in the CEO job, the market determines that pretty quickly. The great thing about being a CEO is that you get lots and lots of market feedback really fast, so I think we will know fairly quickly. While it's not clear if he means the market in terms of selling Novell products or the stock market, getting outside feedback from outside of the hallways of Provo, is something Novell has needed for quite some time. I also like his comment on how buzy his Rolodex is going to be with regards to joint ventures. Mat (P.S. Joe, glad you like my previous post. My daughter is lucky, too, just like maybe Dr. Eric is/will be. When about 4, she stuck a tweezers into an electric extension power outlet. Good thing it had a circuit breaker. She was scared, but untouched. The tweezers tips were melted!!)
