I played around on the Company's web site. A couple of questions/comments: 1. Who manufactures the mobile hardware (cost $149)? 2. Has anyone subscribed and tried out their services? Seems complex to install and download to the mobile hardware (I am not techie). I hope this isn't the pain that a zip-drive is. 3. I frequently rent books on tape, and purchase once in a while. Very convenient for trips (Every two weeks or so, I go on a 6 hour round trip). The mobile hardware only holds 2 hours of voice. So, if you have a book and it is say 8 hours, one has to (apparently) keep going back and downloading -- seems very inconvenient. Obviously, this doesn't work for my 6 hour weekend excursions since I can only listen to 2 hours at a time. Thoughts? 4. The selection of tapes seems pretty good, although I only looked up a few titles (they had them all). Any thoughts on whether they get current titles and best sellers in a timely fashion? By the way, plan to read the prospectus over the next couple of days, so maybe I'll see a few answers to the above.
