Of course. As I said, that's why Microsoft would lose some of the value of its early cable investments if the MSOs were forced to open their systems too early. They don't have the technology to provide open access along with all the other things they've promised to provide.

MSFT won't lose value as the laws of physics will prevail and T will not have to open its cable to others. And if they are forced to have one alternative other than @Home than again what does MSFT care as long as the software included is MSFT. I hope with all this nay saying you have taken the opportunity to listen to the wise counsel of this board and have purchased MSFT at these depressed prices.
