I have, and use PM. I find it easy and convenient. However, once I've settled on partition sizes, I've had no cause to use it.
Besides selecting partition sizes, I've used it to set cluster sizes to reduce disk granularity. I don't need the multi-OS boot feature. I found the disk explanations in the manual alone worth the price of the package.
On the other hand, another PowerQuest product, Disk Image, gets used over and over. With DI acting as a 'safety net' I can experiment with my system without worrying about making a mess of things. DI can restore my disk to its pre-disaster state quicker than I can make a cup of coffee: And has; several times.
PowerQuest makes another product, Disk Copy. I don't have this, and, as yet, don't see that I have a need for it, although others have posted how they benefit from using it.
I only mentioned these other PowerQuest products because they seem to work together and compliment one another quite well. Also, more importantly, they are available together as one package at a lower price than you'd pay for them individually. If you end up buying them all eventually, why not save some loot?
As for being worth the money, I paid $55 (U.S) and received a $15 (U.S) rebate cheque, which arrived in six weeks. Using Win98 restore, I'd spend an hour getting my system back. Using DI, I'd spend ten minutes. Since I've restored over 20 times my time savings has cost me $2 per hour. Yes, I think it's worth the money.
By the date of your post, it looks like you've acted already. If not, hope this helps.
Cheers, PW.
