Um, the fact that Mr. Greenberg has conversations with short sellers is not exactly a secret. A simple search shows that he routinely quotes them in his column.

I'm sure he'd rather not go through with a suit, but I'm sure you can understand that when you're in a position where reputation means everything, you can't allow flat-out lies about you to spread unchecked.
