Sam, except for all of the "secret" stuff a very lucid note. (said with tongue firmly in cheek)
For a change.
It contained none of your typical rantings at least. Though the basis and structure for your logic is nowhere to be seen ( maybe this is because you did not base what you said on anything recognizable as rational thought processes)!
Yes CEOs are supposed to direct their corporations such that they are profitable. DW just does not seem to have the right stuff. It seems that slithering along the bounds of upright moral and legal behavior just does not pay off. When one twists facts to decieve and never performs it catches up with one...now doesn't it? When one does not understnad the value of continuity in a development staff and treats human beings so poorly that they flee after a short period of time, it invariably leads to failure! You would think that Camelot management would have recognized some of these things, but indications are that they have not.
Don't you think that this CEO has made his best efforts at making the company go? Don't you think that the management team has been a failure to date? What makes you believe there will be any big turnaround?
All of the marketing strategies in the world will not make a company successful if they do not have a competitive product. About the only thing you might do that would help these guys is for you to design and develop a modern application that might make them competitive in the market, then convince them to sell the company so that someone that has some business skills and hopefully high moral standards of conduct could take it over and run it like a real business.
I do not think that the drop in CAML prices have been due to "panicky" stockholders. Rather, people have looked at the data and found that there is very little going on with Camelot that promotes even a low level of confidence. You should do the same Sam. Did you ever hear of the question "what have you done for me lately". This would be agood one to ask of Camelot. Unfortunately for the stockholders the answer is NOTHING, Absolutely NOTHING. And worse than that there are no signs that this answer is about to change.
Two questions Sam, seeing that you seem to keep in touch with these folks.
Where is Digiphone 2.0, wasn't it promised in December? Is it going to be another one of those year long waits like we had for Digiphone Delux? They just might not have that much time left Sam!!
Where are the results from the third quarter?? I think they were supposed to be out last week. Is management afraid that when people see how badly sales have gone the stock might drop another 50% in a few short weeks time??
I am not sure how after all of the failures to deliver, all of the indications of lack of business accumen, and the dismal raw financial numbers that you can have any confidence in this operation.
Keep dreaming Sam, but remember, when you wake up you will have to count all of the money that you lost while you were fancifully imagining a bright future for Camelot. |
