I think I've solved the mystry as to why GMSTF and SGHT are dropping. Search the Edgar arhives for Starsight sec.gov Their 10K that was filed on 3/12/97 reports on the competition and business environment cautiously. Also they predict increased expenses for personnel in the near term. The stock has been dropping since the filing of this report. The bottom line is that with the Gemstar/Starsight merger there will be a number of good opportunities for the combined company. However, rapidly changing technology and larger well financed competition will keep them on their toes.
