Paul Allen's Wired World Portfolio update, 7/9/99:

The portfolio gained 2.14% on Friday. This compares to a gain of 0.77% for the NASDAQ composite.

ASYM was by far the largest percentage gainer on the day, with a rise of 104%.. It rose 4 3/16 to 8 3/16 as traders bid up the stock on "news" that Paul Allen was investing in the company. Too bad for many of these traders that the so-called news was 15 years old.

MCOM finally took a breather, down 9 5/16 to 41 after running up 28 5/16 points in the previous 4 trading days.

Current value of the portfolio is $108,355 or a gain of 8.35% in four trading days.
