The most bizarre case in American law? I am not sure that I agree. But the main thing is that Clinton himself signed into law, after having lobbied for, the more intrusive discovery rules in such harassment cases, predicated upon finding a pattern of favoritism or retaliation. He can hardly claim that he was unaware of his vulnerability, or had principled opposition, because he was caught in his own trap....
