Technocrat: I'd like to express my thanks and gratitude for your effort in doing the research and your generosity for sharing it. The only thing I'd like to comment on is the statement below: "B. Brocade has a lot of flexibility since firmware is pretty easy to change. " I'd just like to point out that the "soft" part of software means that it can be changed. Firmware, by definition, is firm, i.e. it can't be changed. That said, it is possible that a component could have embedded firmware which could be replaced by a component with "new" firmware. Just for clarification, is this the sort of flexibility you were referring to or were you repeating something someone said to you? Thank you again for your generosity. Bob
