At some point this stock is going to hit it's own "safety net" and bounce all the way back. Given the recent history of high-profile stock splits, I would get in soon. I would attribute the recent drop perhaps as much to the speculation of what the Fed is going to do as the Liggett "business". Like you said, MO has weathered this kind of storm in the past and always come out on top.
