Art, the GIC/IATV project to do "addressable advertising" is the most exciting potential of IATV. I saw the CEO of DCLK on CNBC months ago and he touted the concept as the key to their business. By creating a profile for a site user, they deliver targeted ad banners as the user accesses a site. They may leave a "cookie" that monitors the sites visited or something on that order, I do not remember that aspect. This is stuff advertisers love and ads mean $$$. It's application to TV viewing habits should be obvious. Not only can ads be targeted based on the program being watched but by a profile based on what has been watched in the past. Much more exciting commercially than playing producer with camera angles, stats and replays.
