Mephisto,

Xilinx and Altera, which we discussed earlier, are both making yet another test of their support levels of 45 and 30, respectively. I nibbled at a few Xilinx June 30 calls, but without much enthusiasm due to my bearish market sentiment.

Earlier, you asked why I wanted to write my own options. What I was referring to was selling uncovered puts, which I want to do eventually. At first, I will use it as a way of buying stocks that I actually want to own, at a discount due to the put premium.
