I actually don't mind doing dishes or laundry. We don't even have a dishwasher. I hate emptying a dishwasher, but don't mind washing dishes, and when they've dried themselves, putting them away. I like doing laundry because I had to go to the laundrymat for so long that the thrill of having a washer and dryer never palls.

Also, I never iron. Well, maybe I will emergency-iron occasionally, for elegance.

Only a superficial person would care about wrinkles, don't you feel?

I have a friend who doesn't even think spots on your clothing matter. I have not risen to her level. She was raised as a communist; I think that's how she got that way about spots.
