The convertible debenture and the $6mln financing were two different deals. And there is no way the debenture holders did not short the stock. They would be fools not to. Shorting covers their butt and protects them from a loss.

The $6mln financing is thru the issue of stock at a discout to current price. No specific name was given if I recall correctly. However, the lower the stock, the larger the discount the buyer receives. So why shouldn't they short the stock as well??
