Density - yes. When we drove from Boston to the Bay Area we noticed that between the Appalachians and the Sierra - folks were friendly. The men were all strong, the women handsome and the kids above average. But here in our burb folks aren't very friendly. I try to wave at folks who have my make&model car - but I get mostly dumb or suspicious scowls. Bummer.

And the bastards are tearing down schools, strip malls, etc. and putting in dense-pak Executive Mansionettes. There should be a LAW that if someone builds a dwelling in the Area, one or more dwellings should be torn down in balance. We gotta unwind this density thing.
