KB, Some very nice points! I recently got a cable modem from @Home and let me tell you, I can't figure out how I lived with dial-up for so long. The cable modem keeps what used to be an Internet line open and allows me to download things in seconds, not hours. The one thing that has kept some people away from @Home, though, is the fact that it was ruled legal for them to view the sites that members of their "network" (anyone who uses them as their ISP) visit. This kind of takes away from one's privacy and it bothered some people. But the future of the Internet is headed toward high speed connections, either DSL or cable modems. In most areas, only one is currently available. @Home is pretty much the ONLY cable modem service provider across the nation. They are in a perfect position to substantially increase earnings over the next many years. I love this company and the stock is becoming affordable again. It looks like it could test its lows around 40, which is a tremendous buy, especially since you're getting @Home and Excite in one company.
