Yah. There ought to be some way (not "counseling"), to over come that. I think, I've heard, and it works often for me, that people need a ritual to feel comfortable in a place.

Animals, I guess, just pee, but humans need a psychological equivalent. Find one, for you and your family, and you'll have more fun.

It might take a whole day, to find what it is.
