USA had the best team of the tournament, they deserved to win. But what a letdown...This wonderful tournament where goals were plentiful had to end with both the final and 3rd place games being decided on penalty kicks....it sucks! What I don't understand is why they insist in having games on July 10th in California in the hottest time of the day? It is excruciating for the players and the fans...If this was played at night, it would have been a game for the ages.....now all we can talk about is a few chances here and there and Chastain's great bra<g> It's just sad it had to end this way. I get the same feeling as back in 94... The Chinese team disapointed me, they did not come near the game they played against Norway. I think they were kind of scared.
