pac tel deal is similar to at&t except that pac tel know what they're doing. on the chart see no reason why we shouldnt see a fast 50% retracement of the recent 20 point fall (ie $60 target within a week). however aol management likes to bunch positive announcements and short covering tends to exaggerate upward moves for amer so dont count on recovery petering out at $60. the june $50 calls now cost $5 5/8 and might still be worth buying for a 100% gain this week, with a mental stop around $3 3/4 ie 33% loss which would be hit if the stock price drops back below $51 1/4.
