why thank goodness? I mean as religions go it is not a poor choice. The most pressing problem one faces(from others) is the perception that we (as Catholics) are all hypocrites. This of course is not true. I typically find that the traditions which we have kept from our Jewish ancestors are good for us. This leads to the most pressing problem we face internally - our daily limitations with ourselves and others.
Personally, as far as I have seen hystorically, of the Christian religions go I think it is the truest to the original church founded by the apostles of Christ. I get a kick out of Protestants and Muslims actually (having known many of each). But I guess everyone chooses (or rather is taught) to follow some religion/prophetic teachings. I am actually a little more free thinker than most Catholics I've known, but do sincerely believe in Christ and His teachings (as well as the baser Jewish traditions - as well as the core teachings of Budah and a few Taoist beliefs which ironically don't conflict with Catholisism)... and how the Catholic Church has adopted these teachings. Don't get me wrong, there are a LOT of Catholics that I get a kick out of watching also. What religion (if any) are you Street?
