there will be some terrific bounces along the way, including a return to 9000 this year....but in the long run how can it not continue higher thru the next several years as the 'boomers' have so much money, both from wages and inheritence from their parents and they continue to pump it into the market. Generation 'X' has been watching and they are jumping onto the wagon with reckless abandon. Am looking for a 50 point drop on the S&P and then a new high over 1400, soon.....followed by more rate hikes from Fed and drop to 9K.
The wild card is Y2K, while it may not be that big a thing here....most of the rest of the world is going to get hit and it will trickle down. I have been playing long side since Memorial Day weekend but looking for the 50 point drop now
