At least at my level, I don't adhere to your premise. Every department meeting I go to, I purposefully try to come up with the most challenging question I can think of at the time for executive management to answer. Also try to do this in my normal day to day operations. Maybe some parts of Intel are as you say, but in general, not my world, at least to the extent you imply.

I have worked at other places, which totally kept their employees in the dark relative to business conditions and even how operations are really going. Intel is not one of those places.

Now, if they'd only implement all of my ideas, everything would be Panacea ;-).
