Ray,
I never heard of Jag notes before. I don't know much about them. I just pulled the article off the infamous Yahoo thread, where once in a great while, something somewhat useful is posted.

I tried to cut through most of the article (I edited out a lot of fluff already), and focus on the facts. The smaller players in the infrastructure design/build game are being bought in great numbers recently. Amerilink(ALNK) was just bought by Tandy(TAN) as one example.

Dycom(DY) has been on a tear the last few years purchasing companies. So has Tetra Tech(WATR) as a matter of fact. WATR is a larger player in this sector(networking infrastructure), so it would be unusual for a company of this size to be purchased? But then again, I'm afraid to say, I know next to nothing about 3/4th of WATR's other businesses. Maybe those sectors are in a consolidation phase too?

Seems like it would make more sense for WATR to spin-off the Networking Sector since apparently it's the hot one.
Thanks,
MikeM(From Florida)
