Oh well, I guess I wrote too hastily and should have used the word "quoted" instead of written.

As a matter of fact, I did see those words in a dream a long time ago and so I thought.... oh well...... I guess I ought to have checked and acknowledged its authorship accordingly. Thanks for pointing that one out.

I guess Gaston misunderstood me. I suppose that that is quite understandable as he was apparently so worked up by it all. He seemed to have forgotten that many a debate begins with a simple IF statement and no further explanations are needed. I wrote that he seemed to be paranoid because it appeared he was responding as any offended Jew would.

What century am I living in? Funny you should ask. Seems to me you somehow failed to see that I mentioned the name Stephen Foster, the writer and composer of many songs late in the last century that relate to the deep south and the Darkies. I was just trying to show (in case some folks didn't know) that Foster's "Darkie" was synonymous with "Nigger" in his time. That's all!
