PB, Personality cults, like Jerry at AMD where his trained seals keep him in charge via the omnibux proxy and a small block are the enemy. Same at Intel. Did you ever see the size of the omnibux proxy?, over 50%?, in that case you get a permanent board and the rot sets in. Shareholder activism is the only alternative. Fat Intel monopoly profits shield this from discovery, if it ain't broke..don't fix....bad statement. The time to fix is when things are good, when times go bad you have no yime or money to fix. I am sure Intel has some management analysis and correction measures they can apply to even top managers, like a police force within?? The next few years with CPUs fallen from grace will cut margins and make activists of many. Bill
