Fred, I am asking questions and not stating facts. These are questions that should be asked by any company about their internal structures. Even the largest companies are not immune to this. I am just as critical of AMD and it's lame CEO. I feel Intel does have better management than AMD and has the ability to ssee these flaws... but will it? AMD has done well because the upper management(Jerry) may leave well enough alone and has senior tech management that is correct. Who made the Rambus error at Intel? was it AMD? As to published comments vis-a-vis Intel management....dare anyone criticise the pope? does the same principal operate at Intel?'the emperor has no clothes' can operate there as well as anywhere when a personality cult takes charge. Talk to some ex-employees of Intel, they can speak out. Bill
