Bill,

<AMD is doing better technically...>

What do you mean by technically?? Surely you don't mean manufacturing?? Do you not consider manufacturing processes engineering driven and technical?? There is not a single shred of evidence that AMD has improved one iota on the yield problems that have plagued every new chip announcement. In fact, my prediction is that they are having problems as we type, but that Jerry will keep this "excuse" in his back pocket until the appropriate time.

As far as design is concerned, they have never been "bad". AMD's products are not what have held down this company. It's management and business strategy that have brought AMD to the verge of financial collapse.

< Jerry has been read the roit act by his board.>

Where do you get this? Jerry is the board. Riot act?? If the board had any power, they would have dismissed Jerry a long time ago. The board is no different than the sheep on this thread who follow Jerry blindly. Actually, they are a little different....they are well compensated for their loyalty to Jerry.
