Thanks for the link. While the pitch has always been for the boxes to be an entry for those who never had computer experience, I believe they will be welcome additions for those who are already hooked and would like to be able to surf the web and cable channels simultaneously. Also, if they make a box with portability so one could take it on vacation or on business, one would have the convenience of computing/web access wherever cable access exists. The way technology is advancing, those without access to the web are feeling more and more left out.

Packaged correctly, this technology gets grandma to pay her bills and get pictures of the grands without having to take a course in computing. A huge number of boomers in mid-to-late 50's haven't jumped on the wagon yet, but have the means to do so. This could be very big.

Or, of course, it could fall on its ass. That's what makes a horse race, right?

Do we need to speak to a broker directly at Schwab to get poised for this thing? If we can't get in at the initial offering, I guess it is easy enough just to put in a limit order at the price one is willing to pay. But of course, that never works on those IPO's that double or triple before they even start trading.
