India will go to the polls on Sept.04. India will go the polls in September and October to choose a new federal parliament. The Chief Election Commissioner, MS Gill, said that polling for the 545 member assembly would take place in 16 states on 4 September. The remaining voting would take place on 11, 17, 24 September, and 1 October. news.bbc.co.uk
