Adam, I agree, that's the most exciting part of the article. I just wonder how long it will take to get to the point where Go2Net is offered as the portal to Charters pipeline. I know this is probably a huge undertaking technologically. I just hope everyone involved in making this happen(especially the technical people doing the work)at Charter, Go2Net, etc has the drive and commitment to work, work , work, day and night, around the clock, to get the broadband phase to market as soon as possible. Their focus has to be on being one of the first ones there. Russell Horowitz, John Keister, Michael Riccio, Dr. Oren Etzioni, William Savoy, Jeff Dryer, and the rest of the leadership group need to have the same DESIRE, drive, focus, and ability to work the long hours that Bill Gates had when he was building Microsoft. Heck, even today with all his success, Gates still logs in on Sundays and late at night to work. He has a passion for Microsoft and for being the best. That's the kind of drive, ambition, and passion we need from these guys.
When we see a press release announcing the availability of high speed access to Charters customers with Go2Net as the portal, we will see the beginning of a new era in Go2Net's growth. |
