Jeff, if I'm reading you correct, if you only have one ISP, (1 phone line)then you have 1 IP address. If you tie the two computers together on 1 phone line , when you're connected with one computer you cannot dial in with the modem from second computer. (Lines busy). You will tie them together with Sygate software, use the modem from Server, connect the second computer (client) thru' the Server to get connected. 1 phone line, 1 modem, 1 ISP, 1 IP that will be shared with both. Server -1 (dash 1) and second (client) -2 (dash 2).
