Maybe some schools, at least, are aware of "findings" demonstrating there is little connection between very high IQs and SATs, on the one hand, and career success, on the other.

One "study" of a group of CEO's of major companies, for example, found that their IQ's averaged about 120 -- high, but not remarkably so.

And the unremarkable conclusion drawn from that was that other factors -- drive, for example, or what has been called "emotional intelligence" -- are at least as important in determining worldly success as IQ and academic performance.
