movies at the North American box office for the July 9-11
weekend, according to studio estimates collected by Exhibitor
Relations Co. Sunday. Final data will be released Monday.

2 (1) Wild Wild West .......... $16.7 million
3 (2) Big Daddy ............... $16.3 million
4 (3) Tarzan .................. $11.3 million
5 (5) The General's Daughter .. $8.1 million
6=(6) The Phantom Menace ...... $7.4 million
6=(*) Arlington Road........... $7.4 million
8 (4) South Park .............. $7.1 million
9 (7) Austin Powers ........... $6.5 million
10 (8) Summer of Sam ........... $3.4 million
